Konrad Weber President EUNOS | The European Neuro-Ophthalmology Society EUNOS is the major society representing and promoting clinical neuro-ophthalmology in Europe. The Society was founded by Professors Alfred Huber and Adolphe Neetens, who organised its first meeting in Zurich in 1993 – since then we have held biennial scientific and clinical meetings. In addition, since 2010, regular biennial educational update meetings have been organised. The main aims of the Society are to extend the knowledge of neuro-ophthalmology by promoting cooperation and communication among clinical neuro-ophthalmologists and visual scientists within Europe and beyond, to support the development of clinical neuro-ophthalmology in Europe by establishing training standards and syllabi, to promote the education of trainees through teaching courses, and to foster clinical research in neuro-ophthalmology. Finally, we represent neuro-ophthalmologists in European medical forums and have a lively exchange with other international neuro-ophthalmological societies and colleagues. Our website offers information about our meetings and announcements for other neuro-ophthalmology conferences in Europe and abroad. Our members have access to teaching slides and interesting neuro-ophthalmological case reports from speakers of our past meetings. If you are not a member yet, fill in the application form, join our Society, and work with us to develop neuro-ophthalmology in Europe! Konrad Weber President EUNOS |
